What better section of the Fidonews to place this article. :-)

I'm not going to complain about not receiving article submissions. That does no good. I'm just going to give some ideas for articles:

"Getting Technical" - *.ftc - section

This doesn't have to be all about Fidonet technical stuff. It would be nice if it related to Fidonet, and most technical things about computers will have some relation to Fidonet somewhere. Some ideas might be:

1. Tips and tricks of operating systems such as Linux, OS/2, Windows, and even Dos. Many tips and tricks can be useful to Fidonet Sysops and even users. Even if it is just a "tweak" to the operating system that makes it more stable, faster or ???.

"Interviews" - *.inv - section

Do you know a software author that writes programs for Fidonet? How about someone that has made a difference in the computer fields that relates to Fidonet? Ask them for an interview and write it up as an article.

"Fidonet Software Reviews" - *.rev - section

Do you have a favorite Fidonet software program that you use? Maybe your BBS package, mailer, tosser or some utility? Write a review of it and tell us about it. What makes it great, how you use it, the pros and cons... ect.

"Fidonet Web Page Reviews" - *.web - section

Review a web page that is fidonet related... maybe your favorite one or one that you found that you feel is good. Tell us about it. Give the URL and some information on what it has in it such.

"General Articles" - *art - section

Got a topic to talk about? Write it up and submit it as an article. Give the subject and your views on it. Leave the flame throwers at the door.

These are just ideas for things. It's up to you to do. I can't write all of the Fidonews by myself. :)
