We all know by now what the headlines of this edition of the Fidonews is about. I'm sure that all nations have heard and, perhaps, watched as the events unfolded.

I've always felt that Fidonet was a family... at the very least, a community. I've enjoyed, in my few years in Fidonet, reading messages from other countries. Reading how they feel and what they do, how their customs differ from mine and all the things that Fidonet provides.

As the events unfolded this last week, my thoughts moved from shock to anger to sympathy and back for time after time. They are still moving through these emotions and more.

With all of these emotions moving and all the things happening, I wondered what the Fidonews was going to be like. How would these other nations and countries that are part of this Fidonet community react.

I got my answer in the form of an article from Petko Bossakov of Bulgaria. He had already sent an article for another section of the Fidoews and then sent another one with his feelings and sympathy for the U.S.A.

To Petko, and all of Fidonet in other countries, Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Kind regards,

Frank
