The Door
From: Warren Bonner <wdbonner@pacbell.net>

Phil went to apply for a job. After filling out all of his applications, he waited anxiously for the outcome. The employer read all his applications and said, "We have an opening for people like you."

"Oh, great," he said, "What is it?"

"It's called the door!"

like, ..... just about every day
From: Warren Bonner <wdbonner@pacbell.net>

My wife and I were lunching at a sidewalk cafe in Huntington Beach, CA.

Our waitress looked like a real surfer girl - athletic with a great tan and blond hair. Mulling over the menu, my wife asked her if the roast beef was rare. The waitress gave us a long blank look, then replied, "Well, no...... we have it, like, ..... just about every day."

What'd he do?
From: Warren Bonner <wdbonner@pacbell.net>

It was the end of the day when a cop parked his police van in front of the station. As he gathered his equipment, his K-9 partner was barking and he saw a little boy staring in at him.

"Is that a dog you got back there?" the little boy asked.

"It sure is," The cop replied.

Puzzled, the boy looked at him and then towards the back of the van. Finally he said, "What'd he do?"

Pray for me! :)

One Sunday in a Midwest city, a young child was "acting up" during the morning worship hour. The parents did their best to maintain some sense of order in the pew but were losing the battle. Finally, the father picked the little fellow up and walked sternly up the aisle on his way out. Just before reaching the safety of the foyer, the little called loudly to the congregation, "Pray for me! Pray for me!"
