When it rains, it pours

It's been raining in McKinney, Texas for the past few days. I've always heard that old saying, "When it rains, it pours". I always thought of it as a neat saying since I like old sayings like that. This time, however, it seems very true.

I started out the week thinking about what would be in the Fidonews and where would I get the stories and all the other stuff that I always put myself through. I've hoped for submissions and waited, blamed myself for the lack of news and all that.

This week, it rained. No, it poured! I started out with a "Food for Thought" that just happened to fall in line with the Labor Day holiday. I decided to do some research and find some stuff. As I went searching, there appeared an article in the mail. I took it and continued searching. I found some stuff on Labor Day and wrote the article on it. Thinking this was going to be all... I searched and found a list of holidays and events from around the world to include.

Ok, I thought.. I have some stuff and a joke or two ... not too bad.

Then the rain started... No, not outside... it was already raining at my house. I mean the submission of stuff. I think this might be the first Fidonews since I've been Editor in which I didn't write most of it.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU! Keep it coming. How about some articles from the *Cs? :)
