Fidonews' Need For Roving Reporters

Frank has been doing a real fine job with what he has to work with, with respect to articles received by you roving reporters. Yes each of you are a roving reporter, that scan the echoes and enjoy fidonews to catch up on what's going on through out this and other zones. And my friend is somewhat dismayed that 99% of you have offered nothing! I said, "perhaps I could give them a nudge..!?!"

Frank replied, "Naaah, that would only embarrass them. I never mean to do that! The fidonews articles should come in freely from the many prolific writers of their own free will and spirit of contributions".

I said, "I'm sure they don't mean to be insensitive... you know how fidoneters are, getting the cookie out of the cookie jar is more important than putting a nickels worth of time in return for the cookie, or the lid back on the cookie jar".

Frank just grinned and shrugged the doubts in his mind off for the moment and wished me and family a happy Memorial holiday.

I would like to extend that wish to all of you also, and please try to assist your fidonews editor with an article, poem, recipe, or juicy tidbit.

This is a plea to ALL zones, you echo bitch that everything is about zone one in the Snooze, well, here is a golden opportunity to give input about your own zones... send in election news, or news of sysops who have rendered outstanding assistance to new comers, or what you would like to see included in the weekly news.

Well gotta put a new 3-way switch on the dinning room fan, chain broke out of old switch, a sealed unit, so hafta replace. Then finish repair on 25" TV master Bd-rm. I think there is always two or more things to fix at any given moment in this household!
