Time is a circle

It's been said that time goes in a circle and what has been will be again.

In the past weeks, there has been controversy over the IC, person and position. There's been mention of an article in FIDO548.NWS that was deleted by a ZHub due to the content and the controversy surrounding that. Some other echos are talking about other things and so on.

Mentioning the Fidonews issue that had the removed article in it got me to go look at the unaltered version. I then started looking at some of the other back issues. It was interesting what I found.

In one issue, there was a complaint about the IC and something that had or hadn't been done by him. In another, was a comment about leaving Fidonet because it was becoming not fun anymore. Still other issues held articles about routing problems and this and that happenings on the good and bad side.

As I scanned through some of the issues, I thought `I've seen this before in the Fidonews or in some echo in Fidonet'. I know that I couldn't have read those particular articles because I wasn't in Fidonet at that time. :)

I guess that time really is a circle and history does repeat itself.

If this is the case, I can't wait until Fidonet grows back into the 30,000 Nodes it once was. :-)
