Dear friends,

First, thank you all so very much for your understanding and your sympathies in communications regarding my visual complications. It is a great comfort and satisfaction to know so many really care. The caring makes the bonds of friendship ever stronger and more heart felt in a time of bewilderment and despair. Thank goodness for Frank Vest and his devotion to Fidonet/news/echo. He had helped me a lot with his column every week, plus rewriting Makenews program controls to make it work properly. His first edition proves the wisdom in making him first choice as editor.

Secondly, I wish to thank Janis Kracht, Brenda Donovan, Joe Jared, Carol Shenkenburger, Bob Seaborn, Gary Gilmore, Ross Cassell, in fact all of the RCC and many others like Jim Barchuck, also Z2's Ward, Michiel van der VList, Z3's Miles and Z4's David; all of whom have contributed their time and effort in support of the Snooze. (Please excuse any misspelled names, my time is still limited on computer and don't have time to look them all up).

Lastly, my eyesight is improving slowly, still read with only one eye and hate those eyedrops every six hours. Good news is they don't make my head hurt for an hour any more. Just a few minutes. Time on computer still limited to 30 minutes morning and again evening mail runs.
