NoticesBy: Janis Kracht Hi folks, It's been reported to me that two people have had problems with some software like XLAXDIFF, and the ARC packaging of the nodediff from my system with at least nodediff.a19. The problem seemed to be related to the fact that the name of the interior file was in lower case. The problem was solved by extracting the file manually, renaming nodediff.019 to NODEDIFF.019 and rearchiving it. If you are having a problem like this with your nodelist processor, hopefully nodediff.a26 has been no problem, since I changed the filename from lower case to upper case for the ARC version. FYI, as David did, I release 3 versions of the nodediff in ARC, ZIP and LZH format in the NODEDIFF, DIFFZIP and DIFFLZH file echos, respectively. Sorry, there is no version of ARJ for linux at this time <smile>. If anyone needs to pick up a fresh nodelist, it is available on my system in /pub/nodelist at ftp.filegate.net, or file request at 1:2320/38, magic name NODELIST. Take care, Janis --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag-2 |
