Dig? Just TRY to hold on to one by the tail and pull it out of the hole! Now as to how deep, you know with the tons of the fool things around here,I've never tried to determine the hole depth! They can do more damage to a nice lawn in one night than ten times their weight in gophers!

They have one other endearing quality! They are the only other animal than man, that I know of, that can host Human Leprosy! There is a statistically positive coefficient of coorelation in a rise in Leprosy in folks whose diet has had a regular dose of Hoover Hog.. That's the Great Depression nickname for 'em!
