FN_SYSOP Election Preliminaries

The international echo for Fidonet Sysops elects a moderator each year. Although this election isn't scheduled until October, the preliminaries are underway. Douglas Myers, the current moderator (also serving as editor of this publication) has asked echo participants to comment on his proposed selection of Carol Shenkenberger to coordinate the election again this year. Douglas noted that Election Coordinator selection should be made by early August to allow sufficient time for organizing the election. Douglas further announced that he will not be seeking a third term as FN_SYSOP moderator, though he plans to remain an active participant in the echo.
