ARE THEY REALLY GONE?

Much has been said about former members of FidoNet and why they left, but have they ever completely left, or are we still in their hearts?

I recently heard from an old friend, Luke Kolin. He was, years ago, Region 12 Coordinator, and for many years NC and/or NEC of Net 250. How did he contact me? By looking me up in the Toronto phone book? By looking in the Fido nodelist for my BBS number? No - he sent an email to Snooze editor Douglas Myers, asking for my email address.

How many others of our old companions continue to read our Snooze? If you are out there lurking, please let us hear from you. Have you moved to another city, or another country? Did you feel you had outgrown Fido as you reached maturity, and moved on, but still miss the comraderie, or the squabbles? Tell us. For those who remember Luke, he is now living and working in Atlanta.
