The ZEC Election process is underway in Zone 1 and there are several articles in this Issue pertaining to that effort.

The Article Specifications [ARTSPEC] for FidoNews were updated for 1998 and hatched out last week. If you didn't get a copy via your regular FidoNews file distribution, check upstream to see where it went. You can always file-request it [ARTSPEC] from this system or download it from any of the sources listed in the Masthead at the end of every edition. The only change was the downsizing of the number of FidoNet Nodes from over 30,000 to over 20,000.

If you got a new Internet-capable computer this past holiday season, don't forget all the Internettable FidoNet stuff and places to visit which are listed in the Masthead. [grin]
